Burgundy Producer Dinner (Bistro de l'Hotel - Beaune): Round, forward and fat with very pleasurable fruit, perhaps a bit too much pronounced new oak influence for me. Moderate intensity. I preferred the Martray '07 served alongside.

Respectable nose, but not particularly distinguished. The palate showed broad flavors that lacked the definition and cut one hopes for but still had a good mineral and lemon acidity. Pleasant wine. (DFW)

Bread and butterscotch on the nose. Intense and flavorsome.
Though I hate to come over all AFWE, it might be a bit too flavorsome. The freshness isn't really there for me. It's a bit cloying.

North Berkeley Imports Tasting (Park Restaurant Dallas): Mineral apple nose. Rich, bit lemon sweet tart. Light oak cereal. Interesting minerality and length. At $98 not interesting.
