Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Easily identifiable as New World Pinot Noir. Red and black cherry with balance and texture that made me think it from Central Coast. Good spice, with the fruit showing a fair amount on age at the end. Short finish.

This one was more like it! Great earthy notes with some dark fruit, and a touch of raspberry and even some lead / granite. Nice acidity on the palate, good fruit, nice finish. Only one bottle to go. Solid wine.

Much more funk, age and complexity on the nose when I popped it open. After breathing a few hours some dry fruit came through and some raw meats. Nice pinot, with a very nice complexity and layering. Excellent food wine, very nice all around. Certainly worth seeking and enjoying.

This isn't bad, but is on the sweet side.
