My first bottle of this, as I find Wilde Farm need time sideways. Decanted 1 hour, and it helped immensely. Of the Pax wines I've had as of late, this is the ripest- which is to say its of medium ripeness :). Floral aromatics, juicy bramble, medium acid, medium tannin, medium/full bodied. There's a white flower, vinous thing I can't place from start to long finish. Bummed I missed out on the 2018!

Still showing that sort of carbonic thing initially. Maybe it's trapped nitro or other? It fades as it usually does in these wines. Some nice peppery notes among the rich, jammy fruits. A touch stony/earthy. Rich feel with fine tannin. Could use a bit more acid. It comes off a bit fat and doesn't really feel clean at the finish. The fruit is quite expressive and tasty though. It's like a saucy CA Rhone blend but not as forward and ripe as many are. But certainly not restrained or shy. Tasty. Still a strong value.

Second bottle of this. Very much the same as last bottle - full of wild, mineral driven bramble fruit. Detailed and finely cut. So light and graceful at 13.9%. Perhaps a bit more reserved than 9 months ago. I doubt it will shut down but I think it needs a few years to show everything it has.

Fruity, nice acidity, and pairs well with food. Much better than my 2020 TN.

Carbonic? Beaujolais meets Zin. Floral, fruity, good acid, nice tannic backbone, lower ABV. What's not to like?
