"Sherry has no vintage, Bond ..." - I beg to differ, and this is a rare treat. Great intensity, mineralty, an airy wine, vibrant, en danseuse, outstanding ... WOTN. #Fogheads #Palægade

Sherry Dinner (Ping's Seafood): Gorgeous nose of orange peel, herbs, anchovy, and cream. On the palate the alcohol and acid stick out a tad and this just slightly lacks balance. It became a bit better integrated with air but still couldn't match the nose.

Really late lunch – blind esoteric and not so esoteric wines at Q by Peter Chang (Q by Peter Chang - Bethesda, Maryland): Intense and very complex nose, nutty, dry fruit, a hint of luxurious cognac. Very rich and round, strong acidity and mineral and a long deeply toned nutty finish. My guess is an old sherry. It could also a dry style Madeira. With air, incredibly complex, sweet cognac nose. This will go incredibly well with aged comte or parmesan.

fantastic wine - razor-sharp, elegant, full-bodied but in the right way and tons of notes, complexity and developing hints of nuts and much more.
