  A handsome, bold Zinfandel. By itself very fine, with food great. 11% Petite Sirah adds woofer notes and tannic structure. Black cherry, wild cherry, dark chocolate/orange zest, and leather. Aromas, fruit, and texture showed best at 59 to 65 F.

  Agree with BHRH. Drank over two nights with no decant. Never really opened like other Carlisle Zins I have had. This was either very reserved, the fruit faded, or in a dumb phase. I have one bottle of this remaining and will drink in next 6ish months.
