  Elegant lemon sherbet, fresh buttered pastry, yellow plum, dried herbs and citrus oil on the nose, with a twist of anise. There’s a cool precision and freshness on the palate, very well judged, that rounds out beautifully towards the medium length finish.

  Elegant nose of ripe peach, fresh butter, quince and yellow plum, with wafts of white flowers and a hint of vanilla biscuit. Something almost tropical here too, perhaps pineapple. Manages to combine richness with precision. Dense mouthfeel, combined with a punch of fresh acidity. The oak is completely integrated at this stage. Medium length finish with a slightly saline tang. Beautiful, suave and quintessential Chassagne.
