Fully mature and quite frankly a bit tired. Palate was a bit muddled and not as complex as I would hope. May have needed more time as as this was PnP, and did improve a bit in the decanter, but just an uninspiring performance.

More solid than many entry level CdPs at its age, it is clearly in decline though. Somewhat austere, with a reticent nose of cherry, herbs de provence, and funk, this show some level of Grenache and CdP character. It is missing energy though, and the palate is not totally together and too acidic. I think drinking earlier would help and I've concluded that unlike other noble regions, CdP is not one to age to 20 years.

Wonderful. Fully aged but great fruit. Allowed it to sit for an hour.

Long gone. Flabby, uninteresting, notes of dark plum. Modern made Châteauneuf I think. Should have been drunk up a decade ago.

Drinking very well which surprised me based on some recent postings. Certainly no reason to wait, but not time to panic either.
