Quite evolved wine. Medium garnet in color. Nose is quite intense, showing strong licorice, balsamic, some iron, dried meat and slight berries aromas. Medium to full body, dusty tannins still present but give structure, medium acidity level that keeps it refreshing. Iron, dried meat, dried berries, licorice flavours. Tannins slightly drying and some bitterness at the end. Good length. Overall good developed cool climate shiraz but time to drink up.

This has evolved a bit since the last time I tried it. Just starting to show some aged characteristics and just starting to get some brown tinges on the edge of the glass. Still has its trademark spice, red fruits etc. A lovely drink with a bit of tannic grip still on the long finish. Definitely needs a decant given the amount of sediment.

Damn this has aged well. Well rounded and smooth now. Lots of aromas on the nose and the palate. More secondary in general but I still get some floral aromas. Tannins are definitely still there but have softened out by now. This definitely reminds me of the top Rhône Syrahs I tasted many years ago. A lovely wine.

Screwcap, spicy notes and blue fruits. Typical cool climate Shiraz. More fruit forward then other vintages, warm weather in 2013. A joy to drink.
