Very dark Burgundy red, lots of black. Complex nose with strawberry blackberry earth and some tomato. Satiny tannins, healthy acid. Long. On day2 tomato was gone remaining components remained in harmony, acid better integrated. Very early to try, but this was delicious and drinkable. Presumably better in 5ys.

Deep and bright purple to ruby. The darkest of the pinot this night. Pronounced nose combining a bit of everything... Floral, fruity and oak aromas. Some barnyard. Blackcurrants. Medium to full bodied. High acidity. A big wine with hidden femininity. Complex and balanced. A lovely sweetness. So much going on. How is this so young and 2015?!?! From VO

La Paulée de San Francisco - Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. Just as complex as Bonnes Mares but more accessible, and even longer. So long, so engaging at every level. Lingering finish. 96-98 point potential. This has the potential to become one of the great wines of the vintage.

La Paulée de SF Grand Tasting (Fairmont Hotel, SF CA): Nose is wide open right now with intense red fruit perfume. Lots of intense red fruit in a light, ethereal package. Smooth and long. 95+
