MNB: NZ/OZ Pinot vs. France: (non-blind - my wine) Medium minus ruby. Surprising eucalyptus. And some grassiness. Possible pyrazines. Also some gingerbread - some oak. Cooler ripeness - ripe Ranier cherry, ripe nectarine. Not the black cherry of Otago. 14% alcohol, high acid (possibly acidified), medium minus tannins. Fleshy with some oak on the palate. Ranier cherry - ripe. Interesting - a bit hot for me, and the greenness is surprising. But a balanced wine.
25% new oak. 100% destemmed.

Mornington Peninsula (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Stalky notes, cream, over ripe strawberry fruit. Juicy, fleshy, stalky notes lend a certain hardness and greenness to the tannins which is unfortunate as the fruit/acid balance is spot on.

Light and floral on the nose with cherry and cherry blossom showing through. A touch green on the nose with some stem showing through. The palate followed with some sweet, just picked cherry fruit.

Full Circle BevCon: Southern Hemisphere (SF: Sir Francis Drake Hotel): Ripe red cherry - slightly confected (possible partial carbonic/whole-cluster). Sweet. Medium acid. 25% new oak.
Good fruit character but needs acid.
