Needed som air to get going (was a little reductive and even cooked at the start). After an hour plus of air it was drinking very well. Excellent pinot fruit, a little more European than New World but has a style of its own. Good now with air, but will probably keep going for another 3-5 years.

Taken to a friend who opened it to accompany our chicken Wellington. Following on from my note of 2 years ago, this has now matured nicely. Still plenty of raspberry and canned strawberry fruit, but now some earthiness and a more complex palate. Long and smooth. Delicious! A credit to winemaker Kevin Judd.

Great fruit - some grapefruit in the background. Good acidity. Now or in a few years.
