Great typicity of the region on the nose; lime, white flowers, crushed rocks, and (I know, but I can’t unlearn it) tennis balls. All present on the palette, with a little seasoning of honey on the mid palette, and a great bitterness on the finish. Utterly bone dry. Delicious. Every sip gets better. Even better than the fantastic 2015.

Opened an hour in advance. Pours a deep straw. A bust of citrus blossom, layers of line zest, and a dollop of petroleum jelly. Absolutely bone dry, steely, linear, pure, and precise. Superb.

A: Pale lemon N: Pronounced nose of petrol, apple, peach, LIME, wet stone, P: Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, pronounced intensity and medium (+) finish (others wrote long) C: Balanced fruit and acid. It was vibrant and the ripe fruit was ideally expressive and pushed through to a find finish. Fantastic typicity of petrol lime and high acid structure. Suitable for ageing.
Guesses: Australian Riesling without a doubt.THe petrol and lime combo took me there out of the gate.
