At the Square. PnP. Mid gold colour. Very Coche in style but also seemingly notably Puligny in character - peaches, flint, distinctive popcorn, caramel notes with a faint hint of nuts. At a very nice point to drink now even though it has time in hand. Excellent. ****-****1/2

Classic matchstick nose, touch fatter than the Bouchard Le Montrachet, rich fruit, buttered popcorn, just the faintest hint of bitterness which dissipated. Wonderful.

La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Ripe, spiced and mint with good depth and charming mature orchard fruit. Very good richness.
