Plucked off a supermarket shelf last week for under $20. Nicely evolved with dusty red fruits and herbs, and there's a hint of tertiary development off in the distance. As good on its own as it is with food. Great QPR.

From half. Solid, fresh, and fairly concentrated Chianti of dusty red fruits and leather. Delightful pairing with picnic of Chinese dried tofu, sauteed vegetables, and assorted dumplings. Very nice.

Not a fan. Acid and tannin are appropriate for Chianti, but there’s no fruit or earth behind this structure.
