Fighting of corona-depression, this works (with a bit of gorgonzola), deep, layered, balanced, caramelized with a good swirp of acidity. Impeccable balance.

Great sweet wine. I love Kracher's TBAs (my favorite: Scheurebe) due to their complex aromas and the high acidity keeping the sweetness in check. This wine was no exception, although not as fresh as some younger vintages. Nevertheless, great for one or two small glasses.
TN: Nose a bit muted at first, opening up a little but clearly lacking the sensation of the palate and finish where you get quince, apricots, lemons, lots of tropical fruit, honey, some cranberries. Luscious wine, with a very high acidity keeping this full-bodied, mouthcoating wine in balance and keeping it light. Very precise, complex and deep and a long finish.
Decanting: No decant needed. There is enough acidity left for 10+ years.

Blind Tasting in Astoria: Kracher is Kracher. Sorry Jay - the bottle was too obvious. reminds me of a good aszu. rich, mango-peach-apricot compote. this is just plain good.

Viscous, honey, apple, and vanilla. Rich and heady with relatively low acid.

White Truffle Extravaganza (Aria, Atlanta, GA): Apple pie filling in a bottle, very nice and sweet but lacking acidity.
