Decanted, not much sediment. Dark purple core with a light rim. I was not detecting much fruit at all on this wine tonight. Plenty of beautiful barrel aromas. There was an earthy minerality on the palate. I found the wine nice and balanced, but uninspiring. Wife thought it was great. Decent for the price point, but would look for it on sale. Would purchase again.

Pleasant, drinkable but nothing special. Nice fruit but a little light. Medium finish.

Lighter bodied for a cab, quite nice as a result.
