dark red with faint bricking; initially somewhat muted with sour cherry cedar nose- in the mouth tasted initially a bit oxidized/old with failing red fruits- over a couple hours though came around with brighter, sweeter smelling nose and rounder lusher (relatively) fruit.

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. I took this to dinner at Frank's instead of the 2000 Monte Bello!! Barely tasted and left at FMiIIs.. maybe he will tell me how it was?

Nice, although a touch too much acid.

Very, very nice. Smooth! Rich, dark, chewy red fruit. Tannin fully integrated.
A nice complement to a stuffed artichoke and a brownie.
I don't think more age will do this any good, but it's lovely right now.

Classic Ridge blend of zin and carignane. A nice wine that is probably at it's peak.
