Sadly my only bottle and we all loved it. Amazing nose of brioche and toast, creamy apple banana and chalk on the palate. This is what all champagne should be. Last glass on day 2 and despite the stopper (which usually keeps champagne fresh for a few days) this was completely still wine. Very tasty but preferred with bubbles!
[Blind] Nose is fresh and youthful (especially as compared to the 2005 Charles Heidsick in the first glass). Less development and maturity but more aromatic expression. Denser style suggests a house over a grower? Faint smoke and flint. Palate is youthful and moderately creamy. Good tension and acid. Tough blind. Got 2006 and nothing else.

This wine is a challenge for blind tasters. There is a lot of ripeness which makes it hard to believe its a brut zero. And its quite vinous for a BdB. I like the style but would need to try it again on a stronger vintage

The Yquem dinner (Chicago, IL): Disgorged April 2010. This is very, very good, and shows tons of bracing white-fruited acidity and minerality. There's a very dense character to this, without going to the oxidative style. I love the chalkiness on this, and the fruity density here gives this a roundness that helps very much with the (presumably) relatively low dosage here.
