Nice, correct, though not necessarily compelling. The tannins have precipitated out and now the structure is acid driven and more than sufficient. Probably at or near peak.

At first hints at Gevrey typicity with some iron, game and dark fruits but the wine is quickly overwhelmed on the nose by brett, and the palate is unfortunately stripped with a metallic, bitter finish.

Sour cherries, with earth and flower on the nose. These follow through on the palate which has nice structure, thought it's not terribly firm. This feels like it is in a oodplace now, but it will certainly evolve for several years, I'd think.

nose: very pure and beautiful nose filled with red cherries, red fruits, spice tones, red florals, and bits of earth. Very lovely and polished nose with really good depth
taste: nice and elegant feel with good medium+ acidity. Caressing texture with rounded tones of red cherries, spice tones, red florals, and nice tones of earth. Very lovely that just moves across the palate well
overall: really drinking great and with the acidity to last a good while longer. At the begining of its drinking window and has really emerged as a lovely and balanced wine. Excellent purity on the aromatics and good purity on the palate too

House of Glunz - A Fine Tasting of Burgundy (Old Town, Chicago, IL. Near the Northwest corner of Wells and Division Streets): Nose: Initial impression is that plenty of aromatics were going on here and some earth notes accompanied the initial olfactory presentation
Tatse: I think its a great Burgundy with great fruits - especially strawberry and cherries (but not in a cali way).
Overall: Good stuff and I really like this vintage. 90-91 points
