Good cork. Quite youthful appearance - medium/deep ruby, pale ruby rim. Dark-fruited nose, some vanilla, spice, touch of herb. Becoming more fragrant with time in glass. Medium bodied, more red toned fruit on the palate, slightly firm tannins, fresh acidity and feel to the wine, touch of pencil lead on the medium/good length finish. Very good - but I would drink this over the next year or two as it may start to dry out.

In the glass it was surprisingly purple and youthful in color.
The nose is expressive after decanting and failed to show most of the herbaceous qualities often associated with the grape. Mostly light black and red fruit like black cherry, cassis, raspberry and red plum skin. A tiny bit of white pepper and maybe a hint of thyme but still displaying mostly primary characteristics.
The palate is bright but gamey. Charcoal, tobacco, violet and fat all come through in the finish. Really lovely balance of acidity; very soft tannins. Excited to see where these go in the next couple years!

Very approachable, with blackberries, blackcurrant, on the nose - very fruity. Love this wine. Layers of complexity as it opens up - pencil shavings, violets, more dark fruit.

Appearance. Solidly dark garnet
Nose: mineral
Palatte: still rather tough and unyielding. All tannin and body. Fruit hidden if present. needs 24 hours decanting.
Leave another couple of years for the last bottle.
