Mature orchard fruit with floral notes and very good richness and depth. Better than a magnum in late 2022, but still best to enjoy sooner rather than later.

The hyper-oxidative style of PP is partially tamed by the bright acidity of the vintage. Nice deep yellow that wants to be gold but isn’t there yet. Energetic and loaded with ginger and yellow fruit and hint of mustard. Maybe it’s too much to ask to expect a touch of elegance in this style.

Very fine but made in an oxidative style that does not appeal to me. It has sophistication and elegant fruit, nice length but has lost or never had energy.
