Held up surprisingly well considering it’s 14 years old. Didn’t really have high expectations but have to say it was smooth and juicy and got better as it opened. Juicy blackberry, leather, mocha, and chocolate.

(Concha Y Toro Marques de Casa Cabernet) #2; COLOR-great dark; NOSE-a little more rustic and Old World; almost Bordeaux-like; a little barnyard (pig fart) and a little gamey as well; PALATE-pretty solid; good tannins; well made; lacks some charisma, but it does what it does RIGHT; it tastes like a Cab; has big tannins; big firm black flavors on the back-end; like blueberry skins giving it blueberry sunshine love; chocolate; vanilla, mocha; it's good, just a hair boring; GV-86

Opened at race 2017. It was ok. And so much better than the 1st one we open.
