The balance of fruit and texture and acid is just first class. Juicy, crisp, great spunk without that searing acidity Chablis can sometimes have, overwhelming the individual with super-sour lemon at all times. Herbs, sweet grapefruit, hint of white pepper. It’s so balanced, it finishes elegantly and gracefully.

My last bottle of 8. This was such a good vintage for Fevre; an earlier bottle held its own against a couple of Fevre's premier crus. Lots of sea spray and light citrus. An easy bottle to reach for when looking for something fresh, consistent and affordable.

PnP and enjoyed over the entire evening. Typical Chablis, mineral with mint and grapefruit, with more air it gets a hint of tropical fruit flavours. On the palate clean and fresh, good depth and long finish with a nice bitter note.
Still very youthful but with more weight and less acidic than 2 years ago. In contrary to many other basic Chablis this shows enough structure to age nicely, drink now or within the next 6+ years, 90+.

Nice inexpensive Chablis from a very good producer in a very good vintage year.

Whenever I’m in the mood for loud white pepper, loads of herbs, and lipsmacking acids, I always reach for Fevre and this hit all the spots.
