My last bottle was the best bottle. This is in a great place right now. After about an hour of air it really opened up and is in better balance now than it was a year ago. Less oak and a much lighter mouth feel allow the fruit and acidity to come through much more this time around. Still delicious.

User ECOLA has it right. I don't know enough about Chablis to know if this is a traditional style or not. It was a crowd pleaser with everyone enjoying the hint of sweetness and long finish. It definitely has a weight to it that is far from delicate but you can't really argue with the delicious factor. A significant value under $30.

No formal notes. Showed better than my first bottle, but still very full and tropical for Chablis. But this time around it had an appetizing savoriness and better balance.

Saline aromas of crushed rocks and dusty gravel. Medium body. Flavors of wet stone and citrus, tart green apple, and fresh pear. Dominated by minerality, this wine has lost the subtle oak influence it had 15 months ago. A fantastic Chablis. The intensity of flavor actually grows on the finish and lasts for 45 seconds. Drink over the next few years.

A nice crisp Chablis. Nothing spectacular or worth taking detailed notes but a good pairing with roasted chicken.
