A little heavy on the wood, but with intense fruit and enough minerality to sustain a pleasant balance. The nose has minerals, honneysuckle, and a bit of butterscotch, the palate is firm and fresh, and the finish is long and focused. The problem is that it lacks complexity and as such it is not particularly memorable. It might improve in two years or so.
