Has definitely developed over time. Dark garnet colored, slow legs with lots of jammy fruit on the nose and palate. Long finish with a bit of alcohol at the end.

Terrific wine with pizza. This Sangiovese blended with Merlot exhibited bright cherry notes, good acidity, and a soft, velvety finish (probably from the Merlot). Highly recommend as a domestically Italian wine.

80% Sangiovese / 20% Merlot. Dark garnet color with lots of intensity based on the fast-forming legs. Bright and exciting nose of cherries and dark fruits, with secondary aromas of chocolate. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and voluptuous, the tannins are silky-smooth. The cherries come through in spades on the palate, with a glycerin-like pure fruitiness quality, and an interesting background flavor of olives. The sweet tannins push through with perfectly balanced acidity on the long and delicious finish. This wine is super, and can easily go several more years. Bravo.
