{screwcap, 13.5%} Pale straw. Low intensity nose of grass and sweat. The palate is not massively acidic, but by virtue of its dryness, feels so. There's a real shellfish, minerally tang to the flavours here; still a touch of sweat to the taste, but with only fairly mild grassy primary fruit flavours this lands a lot nearer Sancerre than your average Marlborough savvy. Light-medium weight, decent enough presence on the front and mid-palates, and a medium length finish adds up to a satisfying sauvignon which fairly screams out for the classic oyster match.

We've been slowly adding in a few whites to our usual reds and this is one that came highly recommended. The nose is melon and sour apple. The taste, is grass along with the sour apple and it has a nice tart aftertaste. The alcohol feel is submissive to the sense of an open lime-field with melon-based fruit and wild grasses.
