Served chilled on a hot day. Grassy nose, typically New Zealand sauvignon blanc nose; palate has hints of sweetness and lacks depth but overall not bad after a few days without wine in Southeast Asia. Tasted on vacation in Cambodia. 82

Clean nose, elevated intensity. Ripe passionfruit, ripe grapefruit, grapefruit pith (thiols). Dose of fresh-cut grass (pyrazines). This is intense! No oak,
Medium plus body. Alcohol is elevated - 13.5% Elevated acidity - tart malic plus tartaric. No phenolic bitterness Sweet herbs, chives, almost rosemary.
NZ Sauv Blanc, 2014, Marlborough. Average Quality. CA Sauv Blanc: would probably have less intense grassiness Bdx Blanc - would probably have new oak. Sancerre - this is too intense in thiols and pyrazines for Sancerre.

rather bland for NZ Sauv Blanc. Clean without acidity, more like a nice Pinto Gris
