With some air time this is very Californian with ripe spice and brown sugar, but the palate is difficult to assess and I cannot tell if this is past prime. Cork variation??

Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 4 hours. Was good to go after an hour in the decant and stayed consistent throughout the evening. Light style with good blend of raspberry and some minor terroir notes to keep it interesting. A solid 90 points, but at $60, there are a whole lot better NW PNs out there for cheaper. Head-to-head against the Penner Ash, Hyland (94 pts) which, at the same price was miles ahead of the Elevee.

Consumed over two days. The first night at a restaurant POP - fabulous. More interesting and richer than expected. Went better with the duck than the salmon. He finished it on day two and was less impressed - became lighter and more one dimensional overnight.

Popped & poured initially. Strong aromatics with caramelized sugar and a hint of vanilla reminiscent of creme brulee. Somewhere between light and medium body. This feels like extracted and could use a little more time so I decanted the rest of the bottle. Bright flavors that tend toward red cherry, cola and vanilla on the medium-plus finish.
