A good drink but nothing amazing or at the GC level. Showing a depth of flavor with a sort of metallic taste (in a good way). Long on the finish. Not a good QPR.

Popped and poured. This is a pale red wine. On the nose, I get cherry, rosehips, nutmeg, and subtle smoke. In the mouth, this is crisp and midweight; the mouth extends naturally into a finish that is short but focused on red fruit and sap flavors. Overall, this is very nice. It’s a complete, enjoyable wine, but seems lacking in the concentration or nuance that would fit the GC label it carries – it’s certainly on par with many good Gevrey 1ers. I think this would be excellent with a range of meals. 91 points.

Dark ruby core. Texture is light and powerful. Nose is an array of red fruits, crushed stone and a bit of funk. It goes a bit awry in the mouth. Muddled, perhaps a bit closed. Happy to have 3 more bottles to follow

Representative of classic burgundy but not a particularly impressive example. Bing cherry over some forest and cinnamon/nutmeg. A bit thin. Not sure if past prime. As is often the case w Bourgones, best qualities emerge w food.

Very pleasant but nothing to write home about. Well balanced, smooth dark fruit and a touch of earth and spice.
