Appearance: Bright and clear, medium (+) intensity ruby with paler rims and legs Nose: Clean, medium intensity and tired aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cloves, liquorice, blackcurrant leaf and smoke. Palate: Dry, medium (+) acidity, medium tannin of sour and velvety texture. Medium alcohol, medium body with medium intensity flavors of blackberry, plum, oak and leafiness. Medium (-) length. Conclusion: Poor quality Bordeaux Cru Classe, with a fairly vegetal herbaceous note, showing the grapes were not sufficiently ripe upon harvest. Despite the age there was no maturity characters detected on either nose or palate. Quite disappointing from its 3rd growth standing, the wine is quite simple. Even though having a reasonable intensity, it is of fairly short length with the acidity too high without the fruit and ripeness to balance. The wine is too old.

Ruby. A fairly developed bouquet and taste. Has some refining. Liquorice. A bit thin. Not so very impressive. Drink between now and 4 years at the most.
