Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio. From the Etna area. Deep cherry. Deep, intense ripe red and some black berries, smoky. Palate is fresh, structured, medium-full, calm red fruit and woody notes. Medium finish. G. Tasted at Sicilia en primeur.

184 NOK. Forsmak: Mørk frisk og god, blåbær, blåplomme. Deilig bær-lukt. Til entrecote fra Idsø: Deilig vin, søtlig, masse frukt. Hadde sikkert passa fint til andebryst med kantarell og pasta. Lukter kantarell ved økt temperatur. 1 dag i flaske: Litt støvete lukt i dag, litt metallisk/blod, helt tørr, frisk bær-frukt med litt sofa.

Strong cherry fruit, smoky, slight leather - very well balanced. Really enjoyable wine - easy to drink. Definite rebuy if available. Popped & poured - drank at restaurant.
