This wine has a lot of character, and I think could be quite divisive in a tasting. Without a doubt my bottle was in great shape, the aromatics were huge in the wine, and the fruit was leaping out of the glass. Unfortunately, there's not enough crisp acid or linear tension left for my taste, so it feels overly rich and kinda blowsy. Jonagold apples, tangerine, and ripe yellow pear. It has impressive breadth on the palate and hangs around for quite a while, with a long flirty finish. 14.5% ABV and you feel it. Drink up.

Maui with grilled whole opakapaka. Mature secondary fruit nose and flavors without petrol. A bit softer in acidity than expected but enough to balance the considerable evolved richness ( dry). Would drink up.

King Fung. Golden yellow, noticeable R.S, minerals but also broad Reisling yellow fruit flavors. Surprisingly, a '98 Z-H Clos Hauserer was less sweet.

Lichee nuts, flinty, lemon curd, and bubble gum (?!). Excellent mouth feel, finish is moderately long. At its peak, I think.
