This is the last of the six bottles purchased at auction and we are already sorry that they're gone, especially since we blew through the six bottles in just over seven months -- because it was that good. After a quick 20 minute decant, during which the wine took on a bit more weight, and aerated a bit, there was a definite presence of apple, pear and lemon crème. The body was medium plus, the acidity was juicy, and any hint of oak was relegated to the background. I'd be comfortable believing that the wine will remain this good for at least another year.

It really is tough to keep our mouths off of this wine. With a 15 minute decant, and at cellar temps, the wine shows a definite presence of apple and pear surrounded by lemon crème, with beautiful acidity to cut through cream sauces, or complement butter & lemon sauces. A medium plus body, with any hint of oak overpowered by the fruit and acidity, until a glimmer of oak shows up as the wine warms to near room temp.

Slo-oxed for about 20 minutes. This wine is so satisfying that we're drinking them faster than anticipated. Better than the previous bottle in March, and back to the level of the first two bottles. The wine's medium plus body, and silky mouthfeel, are very alluring. The palate shows the presence of apple and pear surrounded by lemon crème, with any hint of oak overpowered by the fruit and juicy acidity.

Quick decant. Not quite as good as the previous two bottles as the fruit seemed to fade a bit here. Hoping it's just a one-off and that the remaining three bottles will show as good as the first two. Very food friendly, with juicy acidity.

As good as the previous bottle on 1/8, and definitely benefits from a short decant, and a serving temp of about 50 degrees. Very food friendly, with juicy acidity. Should hold for the next couple of years.
