I have a lot of difficulty rating this wine it is very good but extraordinary I don't think so. It is obliviously well made and has good notes on the nose of pear and sweet tropical fruit and on the palate citrus and wet stone. A little short on mouth feel and finish but a good wine but I am not sure of the expense.

Tropical flowers, pear, ginger, caramel-lemon meringue pie in the mouth- complex, integrated, really wonderful, but I would drink it now. It seemed more evolved than I would have thought.

Littorai's release notes mentioned that this wine is quite enjoyable young, and it is surprisingly well-composed with only a couple years of age. Lovely, complex nose, with floral and grassy notes to complement whiffs of citrus and wet stone. Stone fruit and delicately herbaceous flavors up front, acidity that doesn't really assert itself until it lingers in the finish, and a mineral note that lingers. It's a shame that 2011 was such a low-yield year, as this is fantastic.
