Excellent, if not truly special. There is good weight, mixed with white pear and oak spice elements. Smooth with nice acidity. It just lacks flavor depth. The kind of wine where everyone says, “oh that’s nice” but then nothing more is said. I like it but can’t get excited. (89)

This is good wine but not in the league of the best from this winery. Advanced golden color is followed by a rich and heavy wine that lacks a bit of nuance and complexity. Lime zest holds everything up yet there just isn’t the vibrancy or depth I usually associate with Littorai. I have one more bottle and will drink soon as this bottle is more advanced than the bottle tasted last summer. Good. QPR not great on this one. (89)

I like this. Golden color is followed by a robustly fruited nose that is layered and nicely prickly. Some zesty lime. Fullish palate that again is buffered nicely with some acidity. A bit more flamboyant than I typically like but it works. I think it is at peak and should be drunk. (91)

Really good and improved over last two years: Pear, apple, salinity, even some baking spice. Agree with recent comments: rich with moderate acidity keeps it in balance.

This was pure fire! Slightly reductive on opening, as it should be. The nose was pear, apple, flint, salt, chalk (how?), and lemon. The palate had this Jeckell and Hyde duality of laser like precision and richness - it seemed to bounce between the two at various times throughout the evening. The acid was perfectly balanced and mouth-watering. The finish, long and pleasant.
