Very uninteresting with 60 min of air, but pretty darn good after 150 min. Need to try again with 3 - 4 hrs before the first taste. Luckily, there is one more.

(Reininger Carmenère Seven Hills Vineyard Walla Walla Valley) Jumps from the glass with herbal notes, white pepper, and savory notes. Palate is restrained and full of cherries and savory flavors. An excellent representation of the varietal. Aged in French oak.

Drink with puttanesca on Whidbey island. It was delicious.

I wonderful bottle of wine just to drink. Didn't need anything to enhance the taste though it was delicious with chocolate. Enjoyed with a friend.
