PNP. Deep purplish maroon color. Black pepper and blackberry on the nose. Smooth, dry palate. Nice firm tannins on the medium spicy finish. This is a great QPR and a fun change of pace.

One hour decant. Deep pinkish ruby color. Freshly cracked black pepper, smoky candle wick, blackberry and caramel on the powerful nose. Rich, peppery palate. Rounded tannins on medium finish. The black pepper was a bit overwhelming.

Reininger make one of the best Washington Carmenere. The 2014 year was really good and is holding well.
