This wine is light bodied, more fruit forward than your typical Italian wine, long on the palate and, overall, a very delicious wine. Drink now as it will not age any more.

aroma - leather, dry dark red fruit, forest floor, roasted red meat; taste - chewy and complex, big juiciness meets drying tannins, tannins are grainy, would be better with food

Aerated and decanted an hour prior to drinking. Thought this was going to be bigger, chewier and a bit disjointed. Pleasantly surprised that it was well balanced with tastes of dried fruits and herbs. Fairly big bouquet and a very long finish. If there was more complexity it would be a very highly rated wine. Still, the QPR is great and it was a wonderful accompaniment to our chicken, pepper and bean stew.

dried flowers, wet soil and country aromas, totally rustic, a good core of red berries, plums, herbs and hints of leather, overall dry, interesting, balanced, excellent value, good food wine

Fairly rich melange of dried herbs and chocolate on the nose. Some acidity but not quite enough to balance it out. Good value but not my style.
