Have to agree with the_cat. Really hitting its stride and showing what a spectacular vintage 2010 was. Nice balance of fruit and acid, good tension and finish.

More like a middle aged Rhône wine than anything else. Smoky Saint emilion impressions from big oak barrel charr adds the possibility of a modern right bank Bordeaux. Really nice acidity is keeping things from coming unhinged, so I’m pretty comfortable with keeping a few of these around, but gone is the hope for an elegant Bordeaux. More like a non expressive, good old wine. Drink

Ok, boys are girls! This is my 3rd wine from Fombrauge and I'm sure it won't be last So far I had 2004(92 pts.) and 2005(97 pts.). Let's see what this juice can bring to my tongue and brain! 🕐⏰🕤 An hour in decanter and... explosion of cassis in smell! And I mean it. I could sniff it forever! What else? Coffee ( strong Italian one), red cherry ( nice counterbalance!), black cherry and minerals. Enough! Taste? No surprise. Load of blackberry, black currant, coffee, black chocolate ( so delicious), vanilla, cedar 12 year old wine, but fresh and juicy. Pretty long finish with soft spice, tannins and acidity. It's hard to find 'weakest link' in this juice. I think it's the best QPR Grand Cru Classé in Saint Emillion Year after year I paid 37.56 € for this vintage. Right at the beginning of its apogee lots of red and black fruit’s some nice roasted notes. Full bodied with soft tannins and excellent length
