Wow! Tingly acidity, gorgeous ripe damson. Not overly extracted at all, medium weight. Ripe moderate tannin. Long and some complexity. Drinking now and will improve with more time.

4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&L's): Blind. Beguiling aromas of rose petal, cherry, Asian spice, barbecue and impatiens. Sweet black cherry, raspberry and pomegranate with spice and tea flavors. Gorgeous, and easy to pick out in this flight as our other Kistler.
This was our penultimate bottle double decanted off its sediment about 2 hours before the flight was poured. Drink now-2030.

Shocking but this wine is terrific and tastes young. Not sure how many years it has to go but at least a few.

Dark color, spicy fruity nose, lots of fruit, good acidity and long finish. Still has plenty of life.

Ultra ripe black cherry and raspberry with spice notes on the nose and full-bodied palate with a long finish.
