Decanted for five hours. Ruby colour, nose of sour red cherry, earth, pickled beetroot. The palate has redcurrant and red cherry, earthy notes and a hint of black truffle with grippy tannins and bright acidity. Quite heady on the finish. Still youthful. Demands food.

Ruby blood colour with some rustiness. The nose is red fruits, chocolate, mint and nostril flaring alcohol. To taste it has redcurrant and other red berries, cedar, spice, pronounced drying tannins. This wine had only about three hours in a decanter when I tasted it first time but it opened up a bit. Lots of life left in it and demands food.

Dark core with pronounced varietal aromas of rose petal and tar and red fruits. To taste there’s a relative soft round redcurrant, raspberry, red cherry fruit with brisk acidity and slightly drying tannins on the finish. Quality wine with a long finish.

Blood coloured. Nose is closed, the palate is ripe and rich with black and red cherry fruit but heat and harsh acidty on the finish. This needs time and this wine can only get better.
