The cork was hard and hard to extract which may affect this review. The wine lacked depth and intensity. Drinkable but nothing special. I hope it was a faulty cork. Fill was ok.

This wine is entering its prime drinking window. Still lots of up-front fruit and it's actually still youthful for being 13+ years old. Dark fruits and a very long finish. Not much tannic presence, but still structured enough to make me think this will continue to hold for quite some time.

I did not decant this bottle and drank it over two evenings. It is a well made wine. But, somehow it just misses the mark. it had an initial strange aroma that thankfully disappeared very quickly. The taste was initially just a bit vegetal. The wine was better on the second evening than the first. I'll take responsibility because i did not decant. Nonetheless, I consider this a good, but not great, wine.

(Corliss Estates Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) A bit aromatically reticent when first opened with tomato leaf, graphite, dark cherry, coffee, and vanilla. It’s a persistent, rich, flavorful wine with a lot of energy and exuberance and a tight coil of tannins. Has an extremely long life ahead of it. Aged 30 months in French oak (70% new). 710 cases produced.
