  Rubis/Violacé/Foncé.
  
  Nez assez fermé évoquant la crème brulée.
  
  Superbe Santenay aux touches de cerise, de fumée, de terreau noir et, de noix de Grenoble en arrière plan.
  
  Encore vif, il étonne par sa jeunesse relative.
  Le milieu de bouche acide de ma première fiole en 2015, s'est totalement estompé;
  il en résulte maintenant un vin frais et pourtant très profond.
  
  Un autre de ces vieux Santenay, resté fringant et plein d'entrain.
  À point, mais peut encore prendre très certainement 2 ou 3 ans.

  Very nice burgundy that has reached maturity. Quite darkly fruited. Spice and medicin on nose.

  Rubis foncé. Beau nez aux arômes de cassonade.
  La bouche est très ferme. Cerise, caramel, racines et poivre.
  mais tout cela est gâché par un milieu de bouche assez acide, assez caractéristique de plusieurs 2008.
  
  En fait, ce vin est encore jeune. Très jeune.
  Il est encore dur , comme les Santenay que j'essayais il y a 15 ans... et qui demandaient 10 ou 12 ans pour s'assouplir...
  
  (***) de justesse....mais ça peut évoluer encore...
  la prochaine sera ouverte en 2018 !

  Quite dark in color for a Cote de Beaune 1st cru at this price point.
  An intoxicating and elegant nose - this is definitely a sniffer's wine. Unfortunately the palate was very disappointing; exhibiting little of the fruit on the nose. This wine was also not quite in balance, with a little too much acidity, and a bit too tannic at this point. The finish was also somewhat disappointing.

  Purple to garnet. Forest floor nose with an underlayment of strawberry. Palate is tart and fruity. Light, almost thin, but enough structure and acidity to keep it interesting.
