Zachys La Paulee "Warm-up" Dinner (Lafayette - New York NY): Small glass, late night, brief note. Meat and black fruit with great spice. Some faint hints of decay that didn't thrill me, but really threw off this wine for a few other people.

Had the 1983 Bonnes Mares last month, this was just more together, finer tannins, sweeter rounder fruit, better balance and finish. Really impressive and should get even better in another 10 years
