Very good! Seems like it’s at a sweet spot. Lots of nice forest floor and leather notes without being over the top. Would be fantastic with an earthy mushroom dish.

Inky hue. Notes of blackberry, bramble, earthy, mushroom, and raspberry. Medium-high tannins and acidity. Great nose. Balanced, strong, and subtle. 70 Merlot, 25 Cabernet Franc, and 5 Cabernet Sauvignon.

An easy afternoon with close friends (@ FD): Creamy red and dark berries in the still somewhat primary bouquet. On the palate creamy red berries, a firm amount of juicy acidity and still sticky tannin. Should wait with my next bottle until 2024 at least. 90 – 91+ for now.

Union des Grand Crus de Bordeaux Tasting in Bordeaux (Bordeaux, France): Dark, but not pitch black. Nost has raspberries and oakiness. Palate is full bodied (just) with soft tannins and medium acidity. Full of fruit with berries and red cherries dominating. Excellent wine. Far from ready. 3/4 = Very good to Outstanding
