  • Clear medium garnet
Tea Leaves, Farm yard. Some fruit left.
Still surprisingly complex. Tertiary flavours clearly dominate, but red fruit is still present although fading.
Quite a food buy id you like fully mature Bordeaux. Should be drunk now. Nothing to gain from further ageing. Good value for money if you like your wine in this style.
    2/3 good to very good.

Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of dried fruit, savoury earthy forest floor, and old leather. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium acidity, medium- alcohol, soft velvety medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavor intensity, with flavours of dried berries, savoury earthy forest floor, and old leather. Medium finish.
Good quality St. Emilion that has made it to a grand old age. Drink up now, not for further ageing.
