(11%) A blend of Alvarelhão, Pedral and Vinhão – Slight bit of effervescence here this one starts light and fruity with loads of strawberry (and some watermelon too) jolly rancher flavors. A crisp (but not snapping), mineral tinged acidity emerges on the mid-palate before the finish turns a tad bit sweet. This is nice but I find the white (an Alvarinho/Trajadura blend) more crisp and refreshing. What you get here is more fruit and less lively but I prefer the alternative which I am likely to stick to moving forward…

Delicious and refreshing. A purely fruit-driven wine retaining a beautifully accessible acid profile. I found some red berry notes; think sun warmed strawberries and raspberries, watermelon, and a hint of minerality on the finish. An incredible deal.

Port4olio Tasting (O Hotel, LA): Reserved nose. Big midpalate showing watermelon fruit. Sweet-tart expression. Made for a nice package.
