This wasn’t as expressive as the VR Beaux Monts but gave subtle hints of red and black pinot fruit with a good amount of spicy oak. It the mouth it’s tightly would but still showed its earthy, spicy and rich fruit profile. Great acidity and well-built tannins. A bit hard to judge at this point for me but I think there is a lot of potential here. (90-94?).
