  Ideally could use another 3-5 years, but drinks quite well with 90+ minutes of air. The fruit has shed some its youthful exuberance, and the wine now shows lovely integration and a degree of restraint.

  This is very pretty. Essentially as Keith Levenberg described, albeit without the blueberry note. A little more length would be nice, but otherwise lovely.

  Really pretty Volnay, and a steal if you bought it through the Premier Cru sale. This has the best features of the 2009 vintage, with its plush, fleshy, open-knit presence without any hard edges. It has cashmere-soft tannins running through it, making the texture more soft than slick - this is already past its primary gloss, and the flavors are in a very perfumed, floral place moreso than any juicy fruit, although it does have a nice blue berry tinge. This is super easy to drink and perfectly put-together.

  Red from a mainly white wine producer. And argubly from Volnay's best vineyard. Quite fine with some wood smoke on the nose. Powerful, yet weightless and with good concentration. Still it cannot really compete with the Domines range of white 1er Crus.
